Skylight (v)

A projected video and sound installation, documenting the audio interference beneath the flight-path of London's City Airport in Docklands.

A simple play of contrasts: an apparently peaceful and idyllic view of clouds drifting past combined with the ambient sounds of birds, wildlife and children playing is periodically drowned out and obscured by the dominant sound of low flying aircraft arriving and departing.
