Cotterrell's SlipStream was shown at Peckham Platform for its final exhibition in 2016. A richly populated timeline of 20 original projects celebrated Peckham Platform’s work, and provided a platform to diverse contemporary talents whilst encouraging deep engagement with the gallery’s surrounding communities.

The exhibition featured original works from Melanie Manchot, Nikolaj Bendix Skyum Larsen and Gayle Chong Kwan and presented the first opportunity for members of the public to browse the entire catalogue of the South London Black Music Archive (compiled by Barby Asante) from objects donated by visitors to the gallery. Alongside the installations, audio, unique ephemera and documentation from many of the celebrated artists, visitors were able to collect memorabilia including special postcards, printed currency and limited edition pamphlets.

This event was part of the South London Art Map’s Last Friday Peckham Tour.
