Slipstream (2011)

Pages: 8 (Colour)
With support from Peckham Space, Cotterrell worked with a small group of Peckham residents to chronicle their memories of the vistas they enjoyed from now-demolished tower blocks of South London.
Working with maps and planning department archives to calculate the heights and distances between buildings as they once stood, Cotterrell filmed a series of 'fly-by' shots (normally reserved for architect's proposals for new developments) using a custom-built drone. This small publication, designed by Praline, was produced to contextualise the resulting two-channel video installation.
