As part of Siobhan Davies Studios’ exhibition programme visual artist Rob Smith presents and discusses his new work 1440frames with artist David Cotterrell and choreographer Siobhan Davies.

A discussion, inspired by issues confronted by new works developed by artist, Rob Smith. Questions relating to the differences between live and recorded experience, repetition within artworks, rules and systems as conceptual frameworks for improvisation and the competing desires of objectivity and aesthetic pleasure were explored from the perspectives of dance, new media and istallation art.
