Deptford Sculpture Garden

The Deptford Sculpture Garden, a site-specific intervention in Twinkle Park, a small but cherished public green space in Deptford, featured temporary installations co-created by David Cotterrell, Ian Gouldstone, and David Surman. Presented as a fringe project during the 2019 Deptford X festival, the exhibition challenged traditional notions of ownership and explored how individuals perceive the urban landscape. Utilising the park as a temporary home, the exhibition engaged directly with the local community in a non-traditional art space, treating Twinkle Park as a hidden but cherished urban sanctuary.
