Since 2017, No Bounds has been breaking down barriers and building new bridges through music, art, and technology. Each October, they present a special weekend of music, art, technology, and dancing, making it Sheffield’s “wildly innovative festival” that perfectly blends past and present. Though primarily focusing on electronic music, the multi-disciplinary festival ventures into various genres to offer a diverse range of unique musical experiences across different venues. This allows them to capture the essence of Sheffield’s contemporary scene while also acknowledging the city’s industrial past. Beyond music performances, No Bounds incorporates visual art, poetry, film, talks, and debates. They also have a growing educational strand that includes DJ workshops, live coding, and music journalism.

In 2022, they welcomed new curators and partnerships, including Amy Carter Gordon, who worked with the festival in collaboration with Hallam University and opened up two new amazing city centre spaces to house installations from some of the Uk's leading artists.

No bounds permitted access to the legendary brutalist Moore Street Substation (only the 2nd time this space has been used at the time), which is a fully operational electricity substation in the heart of the city. This housed a new commission by David Cotterrell and Shelly Knotts, "God's Eve View IV (Conflict)", which explored the anthropomorphisation of data through sound and visual art.
