Research Residency to support travel and reflection within Dallas, Texas.
The Award of a CentralTrak residency enabled a fascinating introduction to the complexity of Dallas' artworld, politics and architecture. The month residency was offered to compliment an invitation from Southern Methodist University to present four public lectures.
CentralTrak, (The University of Texas at Dallas Artists Residency) provided, workspace, accommodation and support for the month-long acculturisation within Texas. The residency occurred with the fascinating back-drop of the ongoing Trinity River Development programme, the mid-term elections and the controversial ground-breaking ceremony for the new George W Bush Presidential Library.
